Principal: Dr. Jose Iniguez

Dr. Jose Iniguez has been a dedicated educator for many years. He started his career in education in the U.C.L.A. Teacher Education Program (TEP) and under the leadership of Jeannie Oakes and developed a passion for teaching. Dr. Iniguez began his teaching career at Lawndale High School where he helped open a school that was closed for approximately 20 years. While teaching, he earned a Master's degree in administration and began his administrative career at Leuzinger High School. After several years as an administrator, Dr. Iniguez enrolled in a doctorate program at U.C.L.A. And under the guidance of Jeannie Oakes, wrote a dissertation focusing on small learning communities. Prior to becoming the Principal at West Adams, Dr. Iniguez was House Principal at Santa Monica High School.
