LA's Promise would like to thank the 2,000 supporters, teachers, parents, students and community partners who joined us on Tuesday, September 27th in celebration of a remarkable 2010–2011 academic year. We appreciate your continuous support as we work to radically shift the education, health and social outcomes for thousands of children in LA's Promise Neighborhood.
About LA’s Promise
LA's Promise (formerly MLA Partner Schools) will radically shift the education, health and social outcomes for thousands of youth in one South Los Angeles community. This will accomplish a "neighborhood turnaround" in an area we call LA's Promise Neighborhood. Within this zone, LA's Promise transforms chronically failing public schools into community hubs that offer comprehensive support services for students and families. By doing this, LA's Promise will prepare over 20,000 youth in LA's Promise Neighborhood to be college-ready, healthy and successful in life.
