LA's Promise places emphasis on meeting each student's academic, social, physical and emotional needs. Schools in the LA's Promise family serve as the hub of wraparound services to support the whole child and family. Over 50 specially screened partners providing over 200 services work together to address the comprehensive needs of the school community. LA’s Promise rigorously screens all potential partners and manages partners to clear service agreements. As a result, partners deliver the highest quality programs to students and families in LA's Promise Neighborhood.

Los Angeles Unified School DistrictThe Los Angeles Unified School District (LAUSD) is committed to excellence in education for all children. Toward that end the District is always looking for models of excellence and new ways to improve educating our children. IDesign and Public School Choice attempt to address this vision.
The mission of iDesign is to improve student achievement and graduation rates in collaboration with Network Partners by utilizing innovative practices to reform how school districts successfully serve and support their students.
Public School Choice was designed to tap into the potential wealth of innovative ideas and educational models that will help the LAUSD advance its commitment to provide a quality education for our students with Network Partners.
Teach for America Teach for America recruits a diverse group of leaders with a record of achievement who work to expand educational opportunity, starting by teaching for two years in a low-income community.
Transition to Teaching
The Transition to Teaching program supports the recruitment and retention of highly qualified mid-career professionals, including qualified paraprofessionals, and recent college graduates who have not majored in education to teach in high-need schools and districts through the development of new or enhanced alternative routes to certification.
Teachers' Curriculum Institute Teachers' Curriculum Institute develops K-12 social studies professional development workshops. Educators are introduced to the TCI Approach which includes using standards-based content, and multiple intelligence teaching strategies and assessments.
