Smeeta Singh, Executive Assistant to the President

Smeeta Singh is the Executive Assistant to the President/CEO at LA's Promise. Smeeta works directly with the President and CEO, handling a wide range of executive support level tasks, participating in crucial decisions, and co-managing executive team activities.

Smeeta started at LA's Promise in July 2007 after working as a teacher at the S. Mark Taper Foundation Children's Learning Center, a nonprofit preschool serving low-income children. She received her undergraduate degree in sociology from California State University, Los Angeles. Smeeta has proven herself as a very strong and loyal employee at LA's Promise. Given her passion for the students that LA's Promise serves, Smeeta enjoys volunteering her free time to help with various activities and events related to LA's Promise.

Her favorite books include Sri Guru Granth Sahib, A Thousand Splendid Suns by Khaled Hosseini and Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri

She enjoys family, travelling and cooking.
