Erik Feig Summit Entertaiment

Erik Feig is the President of Worldwide Production and Acquisitions at Summit Entertainment. He oversees all of Summit's in-house productions, co-productions and acquisitions.

Feig is responsible for creating, finding, and managing an annual production and acquisition slate. Highlights of the current slate include the upcoming release 50/50 starring Seth Rogen and Joseph Gordon Levitt, as well asThe Twighlight Saga: Breaking Dawn, Parts One and Two. Other highlights of the slate include a relaunch of Highlander; Man On A Ledge, an exciting action movie starring Sam Worthington; and The Three Musketeers, a star–studded spin on the classic film, shot in 3D. Highlights of the past year's releases include the action comedy Red, the hit romance Letters To Juliet, Step Up 3D, and multiple Academy Award® winner The Hurt Locker.

Feig began his career by packaging and producing the hit I Know What You Did Last Summer films. He then went on to produce the teen comedy Slackers for Sony. During the late 1990s, he continued to develop projects for many of the major studios and networks, while operating under an overall producing deal with Artisan Entertainment, a then client of Summit Entertainment, since acquired by Lionsgate Entertainment. In 2001, Feig established Summit's production banner and in 2007 became a partner in the company as it grew into a worldwide studio, earning producing credits along the way on films as varied as Mr. & Mrs. Smith; Paul Haggis's In The Valley of Elah; and the films in the Step Up series.
